Help desk and tutorials

T4T hosts a online help desk for students that need help with their laptops. We also produce videos to inform students of some of the tools that are on their computers. If you are interested in this and want more info, email Oliver Mulcahy.

Tech Night

Tech Night is an event at LNHS to promote technology and its potential to LPS students. Last year, over 200 students from around the district conjoined to learn of the many jobs and careers from local business such as Liberty Hospital, Cerner, and many others. Demonstrations were also given by LHS and LNHS clubs.

The next Tech Night lands on March 15th, from 5-9 PM. To learn more info about Tech Night, visit our other page.

Programming Competitions

For the past three years, T4T has promoted and sent students to multiple programming competitions from all over the area. Join T4T to become involved in some of them!

Hackathon (HackEDKC)

For three years, T4T has hosted a 24 hour Hackathon (officially called HackED KC). During the hackathon, teams of 4-7 people create a program for the benefit of the community, school, or other students.

Lunch, dinner, and breakfast are all provided for free and snacks are available at all times. HackED is a mix of work and fun, using gyms and Nerf gun wars to let off steam.

At the end, groups present their creations and/or ideas to judges. Judges then award three groups based on Best In Show, Best Community Impact, and Most Innovative. Prizes are awarded as well.

The Third Annual Hackathon was held from November 7th to 8th, 12PM to 12PM at Liberty Middle School. Students arrived from all over the area and surrounding school districts to compete. Our third year was a success and we look forward to running it again next year!
