Senior Signing Ceremony
The Senior Signing Program has become a tradition at Liberty High School and is intended to recognize those students who receive academic scholarships and/or other merit-based awards to further their education. In a similar format as an athletic signing ceremony, this is a way to honor students for their achievements in academic and other non-athletic disciplines. This could include, performance and visual arts, debate and forensics, leadership, and service, as well as academic scholarships from colleges/universities or other organizations.
This year’s ceremony will be held on May 4th at 3:30pm. Participation in this ceremony is voluntary. Students must submit an intent form which was sent to their student email and is also available for pick up in the Counseling Office. Students are also responsible for securing a speaker to present on their behalf. If you have questions, please contact Melanie Crawford in the Counseling Office.
Seniors - Are you planning to attend Maple Woods Community College?
- Contact Sierra Warren at Sierra.Warren@mcckc.edu to set up your START (Student Advising and Registration Time) session. At START students will receive information about how to build a successful schedule, work with an academic advisor to discuss goals and identify the first semester classes they will take, and receive information about paying for college.
- Students with a 3.5 GPA and 26 ACT are encouraged to check out the new Honors Program HERE. Benefits include a scholarship and textbook allowance.
