Gregory Mees

Assistant Principal

Greg Mees started working at LHS in the Fall of 2008.  Born and raised in Columbia, MO, he left the state to attend Indiana University to earn his Bachelors of Arts in History and his teaching certificate in secondary social studies. After completing his undergraduate education, Greg was a social studies teacher for five years at Hickman High School (his alma mater) in Columbia. While living and working as a teacher in Columbia, Greg earned his Masters in Education with an emphasis in Secondary Administration from Williams Woods University.  He then started working on his Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from Mizzou.  While completing his specialist, he left this teaching position to become a Graduate Research Assistant at Mizzou while completing his specialist and eventually his doctorate. In his spare time, Greg enjoys sending time with his wife and two young daughters.
