Crystal Bosch

Special Education

I am Miss Bosch and I am SO excited to be a BLUE JAY!

I attended Missouri Western State University and earned a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Juvenile Delinquency. Shortly after graduating from MWSU I became very involved in Special Olympics, which in turn allowed me to realize my passion for children with special needs. Back to school I went! I then returned to college at Northwest Missouri State University to obtain alternative teaching certification. Last Summer I completed my M.S. in Special Education. Lifelong learning at its best!

I was born and raised in St. Joseph, MO. Other than for vacation, I had never left my hometown until last year. I began my teaching career at Benton High School as a Learning Specialist, where I taught for 5 years. In addition to teaching at Benton High School, I also coached Varsity Girls Soccer, JV Boys Soccer, Freshman Girls Basketball and Special Olympics Basketball.

I moved to Liberty in 2012 for a 6th grade Learning Specialist position at South Valley Middle School. I genuinely enjoyed my experience at SVMS, although I am elated to have returned to the high school level! After one year of being a Blue Jay...I can honestly tell you that it doesn't get much better than this!

On a more personal level, I'm a gigantic goofball! I believe laughter can make nearly any situation better. I love the outdoors and nearly all sports, and when it comes to sports (or anything for that matter), I'm unreasonably competitive. I currently sponsor Student Council here at LHS and I am a volunteer for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I am not married, although I am in a long term relationship with the man I eventually plan to marry. I do not have any children of my own, but my boyfriend has two adorable little boys: Adrian (9) and Aiydan (6). They are both very involved in sports and I've recently realized that I'm currently living vicariously through them, and I love it!

Two years ago, we bought a beautiful new home in the Liberty area. We also have a 2 year old American Bulldog named Stewie. I enjoy reading, being outdoors, sports, and love my KC teams (Sporting, Royals, and Chiefs)!

Life is grand :)!
