Lori Oyler

English Language Arts

I'm completely motivated by a love for reading. It led me to earn an English degree from William Jewell College, although with my additional public relations degree from there, I worked for a number of years in PR, advertising, copy-writing and newspaper reporting. Eventually, I decided to follow in my mother's footsteps to teach. I earned a master's of education from Park University, and when I got the newspaper bug again, earned a second master's in journalism education from the University of Missouri at Columbia. My favorite thing to do is still reading. As Thomas Jefferson said, "I cannot live without books."
