Scott Howard (Department Chair)

Mr. Howard is the Department Chairperson for the Business Department.  He grew up in Olathe, KS, and earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Emporia State University.  He also earned his Specialist in Education degree from Northwest Missouri State University.  Mr. Howard teaches Marketing, Marketing Internship, Entrepreneurship, and Personal Finance.  He is the head softball coach and assistant soccer coach for the girls program.  Mr. Howard is the sponsor of DECA, a student organization dedicated to Marketing.  Mr. Howard began his teaching career here at Liberty in the 1997-98 school year.


Adrienne Fowler

Mrs. Fowler is a member of the Business Department.  She grew up in Chillicothe, Missouri, and attended college at Mizzou where she earned a BSBA in Finance & Banking, and Real Estate. She obtained real-world experience in the finance industry before going back to school to earn her teaching certificate and Master’s degree at UCM.  She has been a member of the Liberty High School faculty since 2007.


Sara Havermann

Mrs. Havermann is a teacher in the Business Department as well as FBLA sponsor. You will see her teaching Personal Finance and International Business in the 700’s hallway at LHS. She was raised in Shawnee, KS and went on to earn a BS in Business Administration at Emporia State University. After 5 years in the sales industry she returned to Rockhurst University where she earned her Master’s degree in Education. Mrs. Havermann was fortunate enough to do her student teaching with Mr. Howard here at LHS and has been teaching here since 2008.  


Angela Klein

Mrs. Klein has a MBA from Rockhurst University in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor from Missouri State in Computer and Information Systems.  She has worked in industry as a Systems Engineer and Information Technology Auditor.  In industry, she worked for Cerner Corporation, DST Systems, Kansas City Southern and Kansas City Power and Light.  After leaving industry, Mrs. Klein was an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Park University and William Jewell College.  Her experience in technology has led her to teaching technology here at Liberty High School.  She teaches Network Administration, Computer Programming, AP Computer Science, and Web Programming.  Mrs. Klein also enjoys teaching Entrepreneurship where she uses her entrepreneurial experience from running her own web based business to excite students in become future entrepreneurial leaders.


Tracey Kracht

Tracey Kracht teaches eLiberty business courses for LHS in addition to being a full-time District Instructional Technology Coach working with staff development.  She has completed an Education Specialist Degree in Education Leadership from NWMS and a Masters of Business Administration from UMKC.  She also holds two degrees from the University of Nebraska at Kearny in Business Education (BA) and Apparel Marketing in Business (BS).  Ms. Kracht came to Liberty in 1996 as an instructor in the Business Department teaching 14 years in various face-to-face courses and serving the last half as the Department Chair and focusing on teaching Web Design.  In 2007 she moved out of the classroom to support staff in the integration of 21st century technology within their classroom.
