Welcome to our Class

Welcome to our class and a brand new school year at Liberty’s Child Development Laboratory, The Early Bird Learning Center. We have a tremendously exciting-- and busy-- year ahead!

The opportunity to teach your child is a privilege and a responsibility we take very seriously. We will do our best to motivate, comfort, and appreciate your child and all the gifts he or she will bring to our classroom. But we will need your help. Whether it is ensuring your child has the necessary school supplies, receives the recommended amount of sleep at night, consumes a healthy breakfast each morning, reading books together on a regular basis, or simply asking your child, “What surprised or excited you in the classroom today?”, your encouragement and interest make a huge difference.

We eagerly look forward to:

  • Helping your child reach his or her academic potential

  • Instilling and inspiring in your child, an authentic lifelong love for learning

  • Fostering his or her intense natural curiosity

  • Making a positive difference in his or her life

We will keep you informed of the work your child will be doing, as well as any special events going on at our school and in our classroom.

  • Back-to-School Night

    • Please bring your child’s school supplies with you.

  • Parent Information Sessions (these are parent only sessions- child care is not provided/available)

  • First day of school

With your help and active interest, we will all have a wonderful and productive year! If you have any questions please feel free to call or email me at
